I like to roll cucumbers not only whole, but also to make a couple of jars of salads. For example, this recipe in Finnish is very good, which I will share further. And to keep the cucumbers crispy and not soaked, soak them in cold water for a couple of hours in advance.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 2 kg
- Greenery - 2 beam
- Onion - 500 g
- Bell pepper - 500 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Vinegar - 100 ml
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Randomly chop all the vegetables and herbs.
Mix all the ingredients for the salad and leave for a couple of hours.
Place tightly in clean, dry jars and sterilize them for 15-20 minutes.
Roll up the salad for the winter.
