Sea buckthorn compotes, like other dishes from it, always turn out to be an amateur. This is a rather sour berry with a very bright taste. But it can be beaten quite differently – in such a light compote with a very subtle and fresh taste.
Ingredients
- Apples - 700 g
- Orange - 2 pieces
- Mint (leaves) – 1 handful
- Sea buckthorn - 150-200 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Water - 1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut apples and oranges into slices, fill with water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar and boil the compote for 7 minutes.
Add mint and sea buckthorn, boil the compote for another 5 minutes and strain.
