Red and black currants are so different from each other that it seems they only have a common name. But at the same time, their tastes are very harmoniously intertwined. And I propose to make sure of this in practice in such a wonderful compote.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 300 g
- Black Currant - 300 g
- Sugar - 6-8 tbsp.l .
- Water - 1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the berry and cut off the tails and twigs.
Pour all the currants with water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar, stir until dissolved and boil the compote for another 10 minutes.
