If you don't really like sweet compotes either, there is a great solution. I like to add sour fruits or berries to the recipe, and especially gooseberries. There is always a lot of it in season, it is affordable, it has a pleasant taste and it refreshes well.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 1 glass
- Water - 1 l
- Brown Sugar - 4 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water with sugar.
Put the gooseberries in it and bring it to a boil again.
Boil the compote for 5-7 minutes.
Let it brew under the lid.
