Of all the variety of ketchups, the simplest and classic version with garlic remains my favorite. Delicious, fragrant, incredibly versatile – it goes perfectly with meat, potatoes and any other dishes.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 800 g
- Garlic - 5 teeth
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass tomatoes, peppers and garlic through a meat grinder.
Boil for 10 minutes and rub through a sieve.
Add the remaining ingredients and boil the ketchup for another 15 minutes.
