Ketchup always adds an extra flavor accent to dishes. Especially if it's some unusual ketchup with interesting additives. For example, here is a recipe with apples and plums. It turns out to have an even more expressive sweet and sour taste.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 3 kg
- Apples - 500 g
- Plums - 300 g
- Bell pepper - 500 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Salt - 1.5 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Ground coriander - 1 tsp.
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Randomly chop all the vegetables and fruits and simmer together for about 1.5 hours on low heat, stirring.
Grind the mass with a blender and grind through a sieve as desired.
Add all the remaining ingredients and bring the ketchup to a boil again.
Boil it for about another half hour.
