The main ingredient of baget sauce are walnuts. They should be fresh, beautiful and delicious. The poor quality of the nut is evidenced by a wrinkled appearance, blackness and an unpleasant smell. As for spices, nothing but saffron should be added.

Ingredients

  • Walnuts - 400 g
  • Garlic - 10 g
  • Saffron - 0,5 tsp.
  • Lemon juice - 3 tbsp.l .
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 300 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Fry walnuts in a dry frying pan, and then drain from the husk.

Cool, transfer to a blender bowl and chop.

Add saffron, lemon juice, salt, peeled garlic and half of the water. Turn on the blender for 2-3 minutes.

If the consistency of the sauce is too thick, pour in the remaining water and mix well again.
