Depending on which sort of plum or cherry plum you use, tkemali always turns out a little different. Due to this, I usually change the proportions and slightly adapt the cooking technology. This recipe is best suited for red cherry plum.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum (red) – 1 kg
- Water - 0.5 glasses
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l .
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l .
- Hops-suneli - 1 art.l.
- Ground red pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Garlic (dried) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water and boil until soft.
Grind it through a sieve.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Boil the tkemali until thickened over low heat.
