This is a rather unusual version of the popular sauce. Dried tomato pesto is radically different from the original. At the same time, it turns out very tasty and fragrant. It will be difficult to cook it in a mortar, I recommend immediately taking up a blender.
Ingredients
- Dried tomatoes - 200 g
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Basil - 10 g
- Pine nuts - 2 tbsp.l .
- Parmesan - 50 g
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour hot water over the tomatoes, cover with a lid and set aside for 10 minutes.
Drain the water, transfer the tomatoes to a blender bowl.
Add basil leaves, peeled garlic, pine nuts and grated parmesan. Grind the mass to a homogeneous consistency.
