The classic shawarma sauce is kefir sauce. It goes perfectly with meat and vegetables, cooks in a matter of minutes and makes the shawarma incredibly juicy. I share my favorite recipe and hope that you will like it too.
Ingredients
- Kefir - 300 ml
- Sour cream - 3 art.l.
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l .
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Greenery - 4 twigs
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 2 pinches
- Ground black pepper - 2 pinches
- Mint - 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the cucumber on a grater.
Finely chop the garlic and herbs.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and let it brew.
