A wonderful sweet and sour sauce can be prepared not only in Asian, but also in Georgian style. For example, from a plum. At the same time, any varieties will do, or you can even take cherry plum. It still turns out very tasty and original.
Ingredients
- Plums - 250 g
- Ginger - 2 see
- Cinnamon - 1 wand
- Coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Rice vinegar - 1 tsp.
- Dried chili pepper - 1 pinch
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Water - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the ginger into plates, add a cinnamon stick, coriander and water, and boil for a couple of minutes after boiling.
Add the sliced plums and salt, and simmer all together until the plums are soft.
Remove the cinnamon and whisk everything with a blender. Rub the mass through a sieve.
Add the remaining ingredients to the sauce and boil it for 10 minutes.
