Sea buckthorn is an amazing berry. It makes amazing desserts and jams. Unfortunately, few people prepare sea buckthorn sauce for meat. You just have to try this incredible combination! I recommend serving it with baked pork or with steaks.
Ingredients
- Sea Buckthorn - 600 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Cognac - 3 tbsp.l .
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the sea buckthorn and rinse it under running water.
Peel the onion from the husk and cut into large pieces.
Put the blanks in a saucepan with water and boil for 5 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Drain the water, rub the sea buckthorn and onion through a sieve.
Mix the resulting puree with butter, salt, sugar and coriander. Boil for 5 minutes on low heat.
Pour in the cognac, simmer for another 3 minutes and turn off the heat.
