This sauce can be safely called one of the most popular in the world. It earned its status thanks to its versatility, because it can be served with all kinds of dishes from meat, fish and even vegetables. Chili sauce should always be in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
- Hot red pepper - 1 kg
- Garlic - 1 head
- Soy sauce - 4 tbsp.l .
- Wine vinegar - half a glass
- Corn Starch - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 1,5 glasses
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the red pepper in half and peel off the seeds.
Chop red pepper and garlic in a blender.
In a deep saucepan, mix red pepper, garlic, sugar, soy sauce, salt and vinegar.
Bring to a boil over low heat and cook for 40 minutes.
Mix starch with cold water and pour into a saucepan. Stir and warm the sauce for another 5 minutes, without bringing it to a boil.
