A very simple and convenient way to cook tkemali sauce is to cook it in a slow cooker. I especially appreciate this recipe in the summer, when I don't want to stand at the stove in the heat. I'll tell you more later. And this sauce is suitable for everything – from meat to potatoes.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum - 1 kg
- Water - 50 ml
- Sugar - 150 g
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Dill - 1 bundle
- Mint - 5 leaves
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water, turn on the "Jam" or just "Cooking" mode and cook until the cherry plum is soft.
Grind it through a sieve.
Add the chopped greens and the rest of the ingredients.
Boil the tkemali for another 10 minutes in the "Jam" or "Stewing" mode.
