Another interesting plum sauce recipe. It should be prepared from ripe and very soft fruits. If they are not sweet enough, add sugar. In the summer I prepare a lot of this sauce for the winter. Baked turkey for Christmas is served only with it!
Ingredients
- Plums - 1 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Basil (purple) – 2 twigs
- Parsley - 3 twigs
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the plums in half, remove the seeds.
Put the plums in a large saucepan, add salt and leave for 1 hour at room temperature.
Cut the hot pepper in half, peel the seeds and finely chop.
Chop the parsley, basil and garlic.
Bring the plums to a boil over low heat, boil for 10 minutes.
Add suneli hops, ground pepper, herbs, garlic and hot pepper.
Grind the mass with an immersion blender and boil for another 3-5 minutes.
The finished sauce can be used immediately or poured into sterilized jars for the winter.
