Cashew mayonnaise is a vegan alternative to classic mayonnaise and can be used in salads, sauces, and anywhere. It is made from soft cashew nuts, and how exactly to do it – read on in the recipe. I'll tell you in detail!

Ingredients

  • Cashews - 100 g
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Sugar - 0.5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - 2 pinches
  • Lemon juice - 3 art.l.
  • Mustard - 0.5 tsp.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pour boiling water over the cashews and leave for half an hour.

Drain the water and put the nuts in a blender.

Add lemon juice, mustard and spices, and whisk thoroughly.

Gradually add water to the desired consistency of mayonnaise, continuing to beat it.
