I once found this recipe for mushroom sauce in a popular French magazine. Maybe I don't get it one hundred percent the way the great chefs conceived it, but one thing I know for sure — it's insanely delicious! Try it, you'll like it too!
Ingredients
- Champignons - 350 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Greek yogurt - 150 ml
- Cream - 150 ml
- Egg yolks - 1 piece
- Butter - 50 g
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Parsley (for decoration) – 1 twig
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the champignons and peeled onions.
Fry the onion in butter until transparent.
Pour in the champignons and continue cooking until the moisture evaporates. Turn off the heat and leave it under the lid.
Whisk the yolk with cream, salt and ground pepper.
Add the yogurt and mix well.
Mix the resulting mixture with fried mushrooms and garlic passed through the press.
Put the sauce in a small plate and garnish with parsley.
