In the traditional recipe of Italian sauce, the main ingredient is basil. I offer you an equally delicious option — tomato pesto. It is made from dried tomatoes with the addition of the same nuts and parmesan. Try it, it's incredibly delicious!

- Dried tomatoes - 200 g
- Parmesan - 50 g
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Mint - 1 twig
- Olive oil - 100 ml
- Tomato paste - 1 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the parmesan on a fine grater.
Remove the mint leaves from the twig, chop.
Dry the walnuts for 5-7 minutes in a frying pan.
Put nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, mint leaves and parmesan in a blender bowl. Grind to a homogeneous consistency.
Add tomato paste, oil, ground pepper, salt and turn on the blender for another 2 minutes.
