Tkemali is an integral part of Georgian cuisine and culture. But at the same time, it is not a single authenticity. For example, I really like to cook tkemali from some unusual ingredients, and not just from plums or berries. One of my favorites is feijoa sauce.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the feijoa and slice.
Add a couple of tablespoons of water, simmer until soft and grind with a blender.
Add chopped garlic, herbs and other ingredients.
Boil the sauce for another 10 minutes.
