Pesto sauce is an excellent additive for pasta, snacks, meat and fish can also be marinated in it. The ingredients for it are not always present in the kitchen in full, but to prepare a truly delicious sauce, it is better to prepare!

Ingredients

  • Basil - 100 g
  • Nuts (cedar) – 1 handful
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Parmesan (grated) – 2 art.l.
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Ground black pepper - 1 pinch

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the basil leaves with running water, dry them with a towel and put them in a blender bowl.

Add pine nuts and peeled garlic clove.

Add the parmesan, salt, pepper and pour in the olive oil. Cover the bowl with a lid and start chopping. If necessary, you can pour a couple of tablespoons of water.

The finished sauce can be served immediately on the table or used for cooking other dishes.
