It is very fashionable now to combine different tastes in one dish. A vivid example of this is meat with sweet sauces. I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of baked poultry and cranberry sauce. Berries are suitable both fresh and frozen.
Ingredients
- Cranberries - 200 g
- Water - 1 glass
- Orange peel - 10 g
- Starch - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cranberries thoroughly, put them on a paper towel and dry them.
Put the cranberries in a saucepan, add sugar, half the water and bring to a boil.
Dilute the starch in the remaining water.
As soon as the berries boil, pour in the starch solution. Cook for 3 minutes on low heat.
Pour in the sliced zest and remove the pan from the heat.
Mash the berries slightly with a pusher. If desired, this stage can be skipped.
