There are a lot of salads with crab sticks, but few will be able to compete with this in brightness and beauty. You don't even need any sauces and complicated dressings here. For flavor, when serving, I decorate it with lemon circles and purple basil leaves.
Ingredients
- Crab sticks - 250 g
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Salad mix - 50 g
- Bow purple - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
- Hot red pepper (ground) – 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut crab sticks into large cubes, tomatoes into slices, and cucumbers into circles or halves of circles. I prefer dark tomatoes, like kumato.
Chop the purple onion with feathers, and chop the lettuce leaves coarsely.
Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl and mix gently.
Mix olive oil, lemon juice and mustard, add crushed garlic, salt and both types of pepper, and pour over the salad.
Decorate it at your discretion and serve it to the table immediately.
