This broth can be served just like that, adding some vegetables or noodles. It is very hearty and rich, and may well replace meat for vegetarians. I tell you how to properly prepare dried porcini mushrooms so that everything will work out exactly.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pour dried mushrooms with water and leave for at least an hour, or even overnight.

Bring them to a boil, remove the foam and boil for 40-50 minutes over medium heat.

At the very end, add salt to the broth, stir and boil for another minute.

Strain or serve this way, garnishing with herbs to taste.
