This recipe will appeal to lovers of pickled fish. A delicious salad with carrots can be prepared for dinner with boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes or porridge. Keep in mind that the fish is already salted, so you need to add quite a bit of salt.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 300 g
- Salmon (lightly salted) – 200 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Paprika - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the carrots and grate them on a special grater.
Add sugar, salt, paprika and ground red pepper. Mix with your hands, lightly kneading the carrots.
Peel onion, red pepper and finely chop.
Fry the onion in oil until golden brown.
Pour the hot oil into a bowl with carrots, straining through a strainer.
Add hot pepper, vinegar, garlic passed through the press and salmon cut into small pieces. Stir, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
