Soak the peas overnight and then rinse. Put it to cook for about an hour.

Add the smoked meat and after another 10 minutes add the sliced potatoes.

Chop the bacon and onion, grate the carrots, and fry everything together until browned. Add chopped garlic and spices.

Send the roast to the soup and cook it for another 20 minutes.
