Planning a family dinner? Be sure to cook rustic potatoes with garlic in the oven. The dish is simple, but very tasty. To make the crust crispy, pre-pour boiling water over the potatoes or boil for a couple of minutes.
Ingredients
- Potatoes - 800 g
- Garlic (large) – 4 cloves
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 2 tbsp.l .
- Water (boiling water) – 1,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, cut into long slices and pour boiling water for 3 minutes.
Drain the water, put the potatoes on a paper towel and wait until it is completely dry.
Mix the potatoes with salt, ground pepper and oil.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, lay out the potatoes so that the pieces do not touch each other.
Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.
Sprinkle the potatoes with chopped garlic and cook for another 5-7 minutes at 180 degrees.
