Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 800 g
- Prunes (without a bone) – 100 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 80 ml
- Tomato paste - 3 art.l.
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water (hot) – 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the prunes, pour cold water and boil for 15 minutes.
Peel and chop the onion. Chop the cabbage into strips.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add cabbage, prunes, crushed allspice peas and cook for 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix water with tomato paste and salt.
Pour the resulting mixture into a frying pan with cabbage, cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
Add salt, sprinkle with ground black pepper, turn off and leave under the lid for 15 minutes.
