The Hawaiian dish quickly became incredibly popular. It has appeared in various variations in restaurants around the world. I decided not to stand aside and also cook an exotic snack. My choice fell on a poke with an eel. It will be discussed further.
Ingredients
- Eel - 200 g
- Round rice - 200 g
- Green onion - 20 g
- Sesame - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sauce (unagi) – 2 art.l.
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Water - 300 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the rice, put it in a saucepan and fill it with water.
Boil for 15 minutes over medium heat, drain, add sugar and vinegar. Stir, cover and set aside for 10 minutes.
Chop the eel and green onion.
Put boiled rice, eel and green onions on plates.
Pour unagi sauce over the eel and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
