Looking for a simple and satisfying dish? It's just about stewed cabbage with turkey. It is prepared simply, but eaten quickly. It turns out tastier if you add fresh and sauerkraut. Only it is necessary to salt with caution. We will cook right in the pan.
Ingredients
- Turkey (fillet) – 500 g
- Cabbage (white) – 500 g
- Sauerkraut - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the turkey, dry it and cut it into small pieces.
Chop the cabbage and peeled onion. Grate the carrots.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, pour in the turkey and fry until golden brown.
Turn down the heat, add onions, carrots and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the white cabbage, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. During this time, the cabbage will greatly decrease in volume.
Add sauerkraut, salt and cook for another 10 minutes, but now without a lid.
