Wheat porridge is a completely self–sufficient dish or side dish. But even it can be made a little more original. For example, add a ruddy golden onion and a little sour cream instead of butter. I'm telling you how to do it.
Ingredients
- Wheat groats - 1 glass
- Water - 3 glasses
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Butter - 2 tbsp.l .
- Sour cream - 120 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Greenery - 4 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the grits, fill with water and boil for about 15 minutes until almost ready.
Finely chop the onion and fry in butter.
Add the grits and sour cream, mix and add a little water if necessary.
Season, add chopped herbs and cook the porridge under the lid for 7 minutes on low heat.
