Ingredients
- Steamed rice - 400 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - half
- Butter - 80 g
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water (purified) – 500 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Bulgarian and hot peppers cut, peel from seeds and finely chop.
Peel and chop the onion, grate the carrots.
Pour salt and washed rice into boiling water. Cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Add the bell pepper and continue frying for another 3-4 minutes.
Add boiled rice, ground black pepper and half of the hot pepper to the pan. Cook, stirring, for another 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and leave the rice under the lid for 15-20 minutes. Add the remaining hot pepper to the plate when serving.
