Wheat porridge with mushrooms and vegetables in a slow cooker

To cook a hearty wheat porridge with vegetables and mushrooms, you do not need to cook anything separately. A slow cooker will perfectly cope with this task. Moreover, this way the ingredients exchange taste and aromas even better.
Ingredients
- Wheat groats - 2 glasses
- Water - 5-6 glasses
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Mushrooms - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Olive oil - 30 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the mushrooms, onions and carrots, and fry for 7-10 minutes, stirring directly in the bowl in oil in the frying mode.
Add the washed grits and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
Pour in water, add spices and cook the dish in the "Porridge" mode for 35-40 minutes.
