Stewed cabbage is cooked differently in every house. Of course, there is an excellent recipe for vegetarians. Cabbage is cooked in vegetable oil, without meat and sausages. Everything turns out very tasty and easy!
Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 500 g
- Sauerkraut - 300 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water (hot) – 150 ml
- Parsley (for decoration) – 3 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it. Grate the carrots, chop the cabbage.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, add onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Add both types of cabbage and cook, stirring, for another 10 minutes.
Separately mix hot water, tomato sauce and salt.
Pour the resulting mixture into a frying pan with vegetables, mix and simmer under the lid for 10 minutes.
Squeeze garlic and pepper through a press. Insist the finished dish for 20 minutes under the lid.
When serving, add fresh parsley to the plate.
