Such a casserole of zucchini is no worse than a full-fledged pie. For a change, I suggest adding pieces of tofu. And if you remove eggs from the recipe, you will get a lean vegetarian option. This has almost no effect on the texture of the casserole.

Mix everything with eggs, spices and chopped herbs. At the end, add finely chopped tofu.
