The easiest way to diversify a banal pearl porridge is to add a little chopped greens to it. And to make the dish even more interesting, I suggest taking a little thick fatty sour cream. At the same time, it will perfectly replace the oil.
Ingredients
- Pearl barley - 1 glass
- Water - 2.5 glasses
- Sour cream - 150 g
- Dill - 1 bundle
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the cereal overnight or at least for a couple of hours.
Rinse the pearl barley, put it in a bowl of a slow cooker and fill it with water.
Turn on the "Porridge" mode for an hour.
10 minutes before the end, add spices, sour cream and chopped dill, and mix.
