When you need something as satisfying and warming as possible, this cheese and potato soup comes to the rescue. At first glance, it may seem too simple, but this is rather a plus. At least because due to this, it is very versatile and almost everyone likes it.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Finely chop the onion and garlic, fry them in butter.

Coarsely chop the potatoes and boil in the broth until tender. Add the onion, whisk everything with a blender and return to the stove.

Pour in the cream and add the grated melted cheese. Cook until it melts. If necessary, add more broth or cream.

Season the soup to taste, sprinkle with grated cheese and serve.
