Meatballs in tomato are a classic, but sometimes you want something fresher. I suggest this recipe in the most delicate cream sauce. Nutmeg gives it an expressive aroma, so be sure to add this spice.
Ingredients
- Minced meat - 300 g
- Cream - 150 ml
- Yogurt - 100 ml
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Butter - 20 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Cilantro - 2 twigs
- Nutmeg - 0,5 tsp.
- Breadcrumbs - 2 art.l.
- Flour - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the onion and garlic, add to the minced meat and mix. Add the egg there, season with salt and pepper.
Lightly fry the breadcrumbs on a mixture of butter and vegetable oil, and also send them to the stuffing.
Mix everything thoroughly, form small meatballs and fry on all sides for a couple of minutes.
Mix yogurt, cream, flour and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer under the lid for 15-20 minutes.
Sprinkle the dish with chopped cilantro when serving.
