Ham is a very popular ingredient in pea soup, as well as other meat products. But most often we are talking about a dish of dried peas, with potatoes, carrots and onions. I have an alternative option! Great green soup for the whole family!
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Green peas - 400 g
- Leek - 1 piece
- Cream (bold) – 150 ml
- Greens - 4 twigs
- Mint - 2 twigs
- Ham - 150 g
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the chicken fillet until tender, set aside for another dish and strain the broth.
Boil potatoes in boiling broth until soft.
Add chopped leeks and peas, cook for another 5 minutes.
Add chopped herbs and mint, chop everything with a blender and adjust the consistency with hot cream.
Season the soup to taste and add diced ham.
