Perhaps this is the most unusual way to bake fish in my arsenal. I advise you to take tilapia, because it is affordable, inexpensive and it has a neutral taste that is successful for such experiments. Cooking such fish in eggplant will take a little longer, but the result is worth every minute spent!

Ingredients

  • Tilapia - 800 g
  • Eggplant - 2-3 pieces
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Spices and seasonings - 2 tsp.
  • Olive oil - 1 art.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the eggplant into thin plates, add salt, leave for 5-7 minutes and then rinse.

Fry them on both sides in olive oil literally for a minute.

Season the tilapia fillets and wrap each in eggplant strips.

Wrap everything in foil in portions and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
