To make pea soup much faster, use dried split peas. It does not need to be soaked for a couple of hours first, and then it is much easier to cook. Especially if you connect a slow cooker for this case.
Ingredients
- Peas (stabbed) – 300 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Potatoes - 4 pieces
- Chicken broth (or water) – 1.5 l
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Onion - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the potatoes, onions and carrots, rinse the chopped peas.
Put everything in a slow cooker, add spices and pour broth.
Cook the soup for 45 minutes in the soup mode.
