Did you manage to buy fresh carp? Cook delicious homemade fish soup. Properly selected spices and a special cooking technology will help get rid of the river smell and make the dish surprisingly tasty. All the secrets are in the following recipe.

Ingredients

  • Carp - 600 g
  • Potatoes - 300 g
  • Carrots - 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 4 peas
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Dill - 3 twigs
  • Water - 1,5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the carp from the scales, gut, cut into small pieces and rinse.

Peel and slice potatoes and carrots.

Peel the onion from the husk. Chop one piece, leave the other whole.

Pour bay leaf and black pepper into a saucepan with cold water. Boil for 2 minutes.

Add potatoes, carrots, a whole onion and cook for 10 minutes.

Catch the onion with a slotted spoon and throw it away.

Add carp to the pan and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.

Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic cloves with the handle of a knife. Boil everything together for 5 minutes

Add salt, pepper and sprinkle with chopped dill. After 3 minutes, remove from the heat and leave under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
