Looking for a delicious first course recipe? I can confidently recommend soup with pork and dumplings. Calculate the portions so that the soup does not remain the next day. Although it is so delicious that there are usually no problems with it!

Ingredients

For soup:
  • Pork (pulp) – 500 g
  • Potatoes - 3 pieces
  • Carrots (average) – 1 piece
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
  • Bay leaf - 1 piece
  • Dill - 4 twigs
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water (filtered) – 2.5 l
For dumplings:

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut pork into medium-sized pieces, rinse and boil for 10 minutes.

Change the water, add the bay leaf and cook for 1 hour over low heat.

Peel and slice potatoes and onions. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Sift flour into a separate bowl, add egg, salt and ground black pepper.

Pour 150 ml of hot broth from the pan and knead the dough of medium density.

Pour potatoes into a saucepan with meat, roast and boil for 5 minutes.

Take a little dough with a dessert spoon and dip it into the boiling soup. Cook everything together for 7 minutes.

Add salt, sprinkle with finely chopped dill and turn off after 2 minutes. Leave the finished soup under the lid for 10 minutes.
