Chickpeas have only one drawback – not everyone knows how to cook it. But I know exactly how to make this process as simple and enjoyable as possible. I suggest baking it in ceramic pots with chicken and fragrant tomatoes!
Ingredients
- Chickpeas (boiled) – 1 kg
- Chicken fillet - 600 g
- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Onion - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Tomato paste - 2 tsp.
- Butter - 50 g
- Spices and seasonings - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the pepper into half rings, the chicken into medium pieces, and the onion is just smaller.
Fry the chicken over high heat for a couple of minutes on a mixture of two oils. Add onion and pepper, and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Arrange chickpeas and chicken with vegetables in pots, add spices.
Mix the broth with tomato paste and pour it into the pots.
Bake everything together for an hour and a half at 180 degrees.
