Surprise your family with an unusual Italian dish — cook ravioli with cheese in tomato and basil gravy. An amazing combination of flavors and bright aromas will appeal to everyone without exception. And cooking such ravioli is even easier than the usual dumplings.
Ingredients
- Flour - 400 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the cheese on a fine grater, add ground black pepper and finely chopped basil.
Sift the flour into a wide bowl and collect it with a slide.
Add warm water, salt, egg and knead a soft dough.
Sprinkle the dough with flour, cover with cling film and set aside for 15 minutes.
Knead the dough, divide into 4 pieces and roll out thinly with a rolling pin.
Using a curly knife, cut the dough into small squares.
Put a little filling on each, retreating enough space for sealing.
Carefully cover everything with a second layer of dough and cut it into squares with a curly knife.
Disassemble the ravioli and, if necessary, go through the edges again.
Boil water, add salt and ravioli. Cook for 4 minutes after boiling.
Flip the ravioli into a colander and leave to drain for 4-5 minutes.
Make cross-shaped incisions at the base of tomatoes, scald with boiling water, peel and chop.
Peel onion, garlic and chop.
Fry onion and garlic in olive oil until golden brown.
Add tomatoes, salt and ground pepper. Continue cooking for another 7 minutes.
Put the ravioli on a plate, generously pour tomato sauce and sprinkle with chopped basil.
