Watermelon itself is incredibly refreshing in the heat. There is a lot of juice in it, so it can even partially replace drinks. But sometimes you still want something new and original. And that's how the idea to cook compote from watermelon was born. I'm telling you!
Ingredients
- Watermelon (pulp) – 2 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 100 g
- Citric acid - 2-3 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Arbitrarily slice the watermelon pulp.
Pour boiling water and add sugar with citric acid.
Bring everything to a boil and boil for 5-10 minutes.
Grind the compote through a sieve.
