The only drawback of pea porridge is that it takes quite a long time to cook. But even here you can simplify the task and use a slow cooker. Then you don't have to constantly make sure that nothing boils and burns.
Ingredients
- Peas - 2 glasses
- Water - 4 glasses
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Greens - 3 twigs
- Garlic - 2 teeth
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas for 8 hours and rinse.
Fill it with water in the bowl of a slow cooker and turn on the "Porridge" mode for 80 minutes.
10 minutes before the end, mash the peas with a pusher, add oil, spices and chopped herbs with garlic.
