Why not make rabbit goulash? An appetizing dish with gravy can be served with mashed potatoes, pasta or porridge. It is convenient to simmer in the same frying pan where the meat is fried, but I prefer to transfer it to a large saucepan.
Ingredients
- Rabbit - 800 g
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Sour cream - 3 tbsp.l.
- Flour - 3 art.l.
- Tomato juice - 1 glass
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 400 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the rabbit, dry it and cut it into small pieces.
Chop carrots, tomatoes and peeled onions.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, lay out the rabbit pieces and brown well.
Transfer the meat to the prepared pan and cover with a lid.
Fry onions with carrots and tomatoes in the remaining oil. 2-3 minutes is enough.
Add tomato juice, sour cream and water mixed with flour. Boil everything together for 5 minutes.
Add spices, salt and frying to the pan with meat. Simmer for 1 hour on low heat. To taste, you can add hot pepper or garlic.
