I like to add tomatoes to pilaf. Especially in summer, when the vegetables are so ripe and juicy. They give the dish an appetizing aroma and a slight sourness. If you have the time and desire, remove the peel from the tomatoes. I share the details of the recipe.
Ingredients
- Fig - 2 glasses
- Chicken fillet - 300 g
- Sausage - 200 g
- Tomatoes (medium) – 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 head
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Zira - 0,5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Water (hot) – 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut chicken fillet, sausage, tomatoes and peeled onion.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Activate the "Frying" mode and fry the fillets in oil. It takes 10-12 minutes for the pieces of meat to brown well.
Add spices and sausage. Continue frying for 5-8 minutes.
Add onions with carrots, tomatoes and cook until the onion is transparent.
Pour in the washed rice, stick in a whole head of garlic, add salt and pour in hot water. Close the lid and turn on the Pilaf program for 45 minutes.
