Each country is famous for its customs, culture and cuisine features. In the Republic of Tatarstan, for example, they bake very tasty triangular pies with meat - echpochmak. During the cooking process, hot broth is poured into the pie, which makes the finished product very juicy and fragrant.
Ingredients
- Flour - 500 g
- Milk (warm) – 1 glass
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Dry yeast (high-speed) – 8 g
- Butter - 50 g
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 art.l.
- Egg yolks (for greasing pies) – 1 piece
- Sesame (for sprinkling) – 1 tbsp.l.
- Chicken broth (for submission) – 1 glass
- Ground beef - 500 g
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sift flour, add dry yeast, salt and sugar.
Add warm milk, melted butter and lightly beaten egg.
Knead the soft dough, cover with a towel and put it in a warm place for 1 hour. During this time, you can knead the dough several times.
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop.
Mix ground beef, onion, ground black pepper and salt.
Divide the dough into 12 identical pieces.
Roll out each one into a flat cake, lay out a little filling and seal the edges with a triangle. There should be a small hole on top.
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, lay out the pies and leave for 20 minutes in a warm place.
Brush the pies with yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Take the pies out of the oven. Pour 1 tablespoon of hot broth into each through the hole and put it in the oven for another 15 minutes.
