The dough for mannikins can be completely different, and today I want to share with you my favorite version on kefir. If desired, mix chopped fruits, berries, raisins or nuts into it – to your taste.
Ingredients
- Kefir - 250 ml
- Semolina - 200 g
- Flour - 80 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Butter - 100 g
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Baking powder dough - 1.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix semolina, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Whisk the egg, kefir and melted butter.
Combine both masses, pour the dough into the mold and leave for half an hour.
Bake the mannikin in the oven for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
